Texas-based PGA TOUR professionals, Chris Stroud and Bobby Gates were inspired to create the Hurricane Harvey Relief Pro-Am after the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. Joined by Steve Timms of the Houston Golf Association, Bryan Naugle of Pro Links Sports and Casey Paulson of Bluejack National, the committee seeks to give hope back to those who have lost everything and now face the monumental task of rebuilding their homes and lives.
Chris Stroud has been a professional golfer since 2004. A member of the PGA TOUR since 2007, he picked up his first TOUR victory this year at the Barracuda Championship.
Steve Timms is tournament director of the Houston Open and president and CEO of the Houston Golf Association. He is also president of The First Tee™ of Greater Houston, which is the largest in a worldwide network of more than 180 chapters.
Bobby Gates has been a professional golfer since 2008. Prior to joining the PGA TOUR in 2011, Bobby won the Michael Hill New Zealand Open in 2010.
Bryan Naugle is the executive director of the Insperity Invitational. He is co-founder and partner of Pro Links Sports, a full service golf managment company, that manages seven events on the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions.
Casey Paulson is vice president of Beacon Land development and President of Blujack National. Casey recently received the prestigious 2014 Northern Texas PGA Professional of the Year award.
